I’m fascinated by bioelectrical phenomena and the interactions between biology and electromagnetic fields. This, combined with a desire to improve people’s quality of life and health outcomes on a large scale, motivated me to work on brain stimulation to treat neural disorders. I graduated from Arizona State University with bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Physics, and I just began working in both the Grill Lab and the Peterchev Lab. I am currently working on modeling neural responses to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to better understand its mechanisms of action to eventually allow the rational design of new, more effective, TMS treatment modalities. Outside of lab, I like to play soccer and basketball, play piano, and read.
