The 6th edition of the seminal textbook Neurosciencehas just been published and is now available in print and electronic versions. This comprehensive textbook covers the field for which it is named, from cellular signaling to cognitive function.

The new edition, co-edited and co-written by Leonard White, PhD, contains the largest update to the book since its first edition in 1997. White, who has been involved since the second edition, was also heavily involved with the companion digital atlas of the human central nervous system, “Sylvius,” a free copy of which is available to all Duke students, staff, and faculty.

In addition to White, Neuroscience is edited by the Neurobiology Department’s Dale Purves, MD and William Hall, PhD, as well as George Augustine, PhD, David Fitzpatrick, PhD, David Fitzpatrick, PhD, Anthony-Samuel LaMantia, PhD, Richard Mooney, PhD, and Michael Platt, PhD. Read more about the book or order a copy here.
