Congratulations to our newest Ph.D.! On March 17, 2020, Matthew Biegler successfully defended his dissertation and earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology at the department’s first virtual seminar. His thesis was titled Developing Molecular Tools for Interrogating a Vocal Learning Avian Species. Matt's Zoomed-in thesis committee included Anne West, Charlie Gersbach, Jeremy Kay and thesis advisor Erich Jarvis.
