Cole manages the operations of the Department’s building and space and coordinates the Neurobiology Seminar Series as well. He changed careers after 6 years as an event planner, administrator, and educator at Morehead Planetarium at UNC and joined Neurobiology in February 2023. He graduated from UNC with a degree in Ancient History (so, naturally, he continues to work exclusively, if only tangentially, in science). He continues to delve into history on his own and by taking classes, but also enjoys traveling, gardening, building, brewing and a variety of other nerdy pursuits.
