Nikki Sullivan
Postdoctoral Fellow

Nikki Sullivan is a Postdoctoral Associate with Scott Huettel at Duke University. She received her Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems and Behavioral and Social Neuroscience from Caltech, where she studied with Antonio Rangel. Her dissertation was on, “The neurocomputational basis of self-control success and failure.”

Prior to Caltech, Nikki received her M.A. at University of Chicago with advisor Howard Nusbaum. Subsequently, she worked as a researcher for the Departments of Psychology and Economics. She has also previously worked as a research fellow with Kevin McCabe at the Center for the Study of Neuroeconomics at George Mason University. She holds a B.A. from Miami University (Ohio) in psychology with a minor in neuroscience and concentration in biochemistry. Her research interests include factors influencing, and individual and group differences in, the neural computations relating to economic and social decisions. In addition to science, Nikki enjoys fiction, running, hedgehogs, fireworks, and the state of Ohio.
